How hard is it to sell coins without getting any bad feedback? I see plenty of other e-bay sellers with tons of positive feedback (i still shop there) there is no excuse. Most of the coin auctions that I see are worded to confuse people about there purchase and take advantage of new coin buyers. QUIT IT. How can ya sleep at night knowing you just sold someone a falsely advertised product. There is probably some poor little kid that has saved up his money from his paper route to buy his first coin and you are there to cheat him of it. If more sellers would clean up there act I might shop at other auctions like yours. I'm always buying coins and as of right now I'm buying all my key date Lincolns and just paid for my 1911-S I will not buy from anyone with bad feedback.

Quote: TRUNCATED: Item limit You have so many negatives/neutrals, that even toolhaus has run out of space for them. The most they can calculate is 1000, and you obviously have so much more than that. NOT too good in my opinion. See this reputable seller of coins, just 7 negs in the past year, compared to your almost 300. Quote: it is absolutely impossible to please everyone. Seems like A LOT of other sellers are able to do that with ease. (By the way, I am not bashing you personally, just stating the facts.)

Sir Ferrari, stop lying. We do not have more than 1000 negs/neutrals. You probably don't have a fast enough computer to handle the site. Have you sold anything on ebay in the past year? Yes, that one seller has better feedback, because all he sells is Ike dollars, mint sets and proof sets. At the prices he is selling them for I don't know how he is making any money on them. We could definately have better feedback if all we sold were "no-brainer" items and basically gave everything away. I'm sorry but you won't convince us that having a 99% rating and making a profit is worse than having a 100% rating and not making any money. I'm not going to argue anymore on here, except if someone continues to lie.

DEAR LAVANGA, I have purchased coins from this site( it seems you are involved with) correct me if I am wrong.I was not very pleased with your product and at the time, was dealing with health issues and just let things be.I will say in all fairness, your feedback is nothing to be proud of, 10- negatives in the last 30-days! THIS is totally unacceptable and I would agree with some of the other statements earlier posted, your products are not what you promise in your auctions, and is certainly inferior to the expected products to be received.I have sold nothing but coins on ebay for a while with 100% POSITIVE FEEDBACK, yes it is not an easy thing to please everyone, but if your product is what you say it is , in my opinion you and the auction winner will all be pleased to give positive feedback.I stopped selling because pleasing people is a very hard thing to do, however this is from someone who has about 150 sales.AGAIN 100% FEEDBACK, your numbers are reflective of not doing the right thing, if I was wrong, your #'s would be different. JUST MY OPINION... PS: SOME PEOPLE ARE GIVING THE HOBBY OF COLLECTING COINS A BAD TASTE AND A POOR EXPERIENCE IN THIS EXCITING VENUE TO HOPEFULLY NOT BE MISGUIDED BY THE FEW THAT ARE VERY MISLEADING!!

Ps:you are so defensive , you stated your self basically, you would not care to get this type of feedback, as long as you are making money? I did not always make as much as I wanted to however I have a inner self to answer to, I could of done what alot of others are doing, misleading people for profit, however I enjoy my sleep at night and a little thing called, self respect, truth and honesty.this is not to say all you have sold is not good, just going by what I have seen for the last year and a half of watching certain people and how they operate!again, just my opinion...

Boy have I got a deal for you Lavanga when you get your 50 posts I will let you buy my Uncirculated, gem,BU,rare coins that I pulled from circulation. I just ask that you first send me the money so I can go out and buy them from someone else and then resell them to you. Please enjoy the pictures I took of the coins I don't have and it should only take a month or so for me to complete this transaction and get them on ups ground to you. It sounds like a great deal and to good to be true right? YEP sorry I have morals and your feedback shows you just don't care what you do to others as long as your wallet gets full. Do all us collectors a favor go sell muffler bearings and stay out of the coin business.

Quote: Sir Ferrari, stop lying Facts don't lie, dishonest sellers lie. Quote: your feedback is nothing to be proud of Quote: You probably don't have a fast enough computer to handle the site. So it's just me, with my brand new 2008 Lenovo desktop with top of the line DSL, that sees you have so much bad feedback that a huge database cannot handle it all? Right...

And it doesn't matter if someone sells these "nobrainer" items as you call them, what matters is that customers are happy. His are, yours aren't, end of story.

wow... I should really stay away. Luckily, I buy all my coins from APMEX and community members! Seriously, when I sell banknotes, I don't try to fob them off. Even if there's a slight ripple in the paper, I put in BOLD words and tell the buyers that it has this problem. The only negative I have was a 2000 yen note I sold. I thought it was UNC, but the more I looked at it, it was a washed note. But, I couldn't change the title again, but put the waring washed at the bottom. Still, a buyer gave me negative, and I say that I deserved it because I MISREPRESENTED THE NOTE. Quote: There is probably some poor little kid that has saved up his money from his paper route to buy his first coin and you are there to cheat him of it This is especially true for me. You don't know how it feels to get a coin for Christmas, only to be told that it's been cleaned and scrubbed, and only paid the bullion value.

They made the mistake and was there $5 screw up it would have cost me that much for a gallon of gas at that time to drive back to the bank as I was not paying attention to what small amount of money I was getting back from my cent rolls. Trust me they have plenty of my money that makes them money when they loan it. I think the banks have bigger trouble then my $5(bailout). It must have took ya an hour to dig that one up. Here is a great idea. Why don't you spend all this time you have to send out apology letters to all your bad feedback customers and use there money you made off them to put the stamp on it. Stone sent

This thread is degenerating into a dogpile. I'm going to leave it open (for the moment), but I urge you guys to find some less in-your-face way of expressing your opinions on the topic.

It does not matter what a person sells - what matters is how he/she treats their customers, whether they deliver the item described as promised, and if they handle any issues with that delivery with decorum and respect. In other words, whether you're selling coins or bearings, if you deliver what you promised, when you promised, then your feedback will reflect that fact.
I recently purchased something from this seller to see if anything had changed. I had to leave a positive as what I received was what was stated, however, I made sure to note the condition of said item in my positive feedback. Basically, I paid face value with free shipping, and what I received were coins that were either used in slot machines or as drag racing markers on the asphalt. I did get face value for my money though, which is why I left the positive. People will see that, as well, at least until it is buried because of so many transactions.
The point being missed.. no matter if you are a seller with 100 feedbacks or 100,000 - are all your customers satisfied? If all of them are not, then what could you be doing to fix it? Happy customers are return customers, and one unhappy customer tells 10 (and in the internet age, tells 1,000!). On the internet, your reputation is all you have, so it really pays to keep it up as best you can.
