@pepactonius: Nice silver 10 Zlotych from Poland! I like the glass insert of the silver coin. Very appropriate for the theme which centers around how a group of Polish craftsmen, including glass blowers, helped settle the Jamestown colony in the early 1600s.
Do you also have the 2 Zlote circulating commemorative coin of the same theme? There is also a gold 100 Zlotych commemorative coin for the theme - I don't have the gold one yet!

Here's a 1975 5 Kroner coin from Norway that commemorates the 150th anniversary of the start of regular Norse immigration to America. Its reverse depicts the Restoration, the sloop that brought the first group to the US. The designs of the copper-nickel circulating commemorative coin are the work of Ĝivind Hansen. It's a modern-era "cousin" to the 1925 Norse-American Centennial medal struck by the US Mint; the medal marked the 100th anniversary of the same event (though with a much more symbolic theme).

No -- just this one. The only reason I have this is because of the glass insert. It's part of my "coins with gimmicks" subcollection.

@pepactonius / NumisRob: Thanks for the great additions to the thread!
From my collecting experience, France has issued the largest number of commemorative coins that have a tie to US history.

Here's a coin from the Netherlands issued in 1997 to mark the 50th anniversary of the Marshal Plan. If you'd like to learn more about the Marshall Plan/European Recovery Program, the "almost" US commemorative coin for its 50th anniversary and/or the coin shown here, visit: 1997 Marshall Plan Commemorative Coins

Gold version of a Netherlands 50 Gulden silver coin struck in 1982 to commemorate 200 years of diplomatic relations between the Netharlands and the USA. It is believed that only 6 in gold were struck. One of these was given to president Reagan during his visit to the Netherlands. The mintage of the silver version was 198,986 in UNC and 49,998 in proof.
