hey guys I've built about 5 different versions of a penny sorter. My latest sorter will sort copper from zinc and silver from clad in any denomination. I have yet to put its potential to use as I dont have thousands of dollars to run through it. I will say it will go through a box of halves in under 10 min and not miss a single silver. As far as copper cents goes I have built ones very cheap that are tricky to use. Ones that are slightly more expensive but the best bang for the buck. Or ones that will last forever but cost several hundred in parts alone. I think the later is what most people can find online and can't justify to spend that much money. It is truly a game of you get what you pay for. That being said I am currious of what would you pay for a sorter ?

Now I remember reading an article in Coin World a couple of months ago that said it was illegal to melt copper pennies.
