They should get paid. They took a financial risk on the inventory, then used their time, equipment, and skills to photograph and re-market the piece. I'd want a lot more than 20-30% for putting all of into something as well. - I work in an industry where we don't touch a project if we can't get over 10X our cost on the goods. That other 90% goes to the work like he did, commissions, salaries, profit, etc. Report this Post to the Staff

Luster looks dead. At TPG it will most likely NOT straight grade. Yep, that's why I was reluctant to pull the trigger the first time. The photos were fuzzy, and hard to tell how much luster if any. Even with these new photos I couldn't tell if there was any luster or just bad photos. I don't know about others, but I find many sellers have the hardest time capturing luster in photos they post on ebay. I'll just return it if in fact it's lackluster (and/or looks cleaned) in hand. Zurie Pillar of the Community United States 5689 Posts	Posted 01/14/2021 2:20 pm You can often get a sense of the luster by looking over other coins from the same seller. I found this ebay seller, and several of his other coin listings show excellent luster, taken with the same background and lighting. So I suspect the lack of luster on this coin is due to overdipping or a cleaning, not bad lighting. Report this Post to the Staff
