I never calculated these "jbuck days off" when NO replies at all get added. That's kiiling my chances, lol.

ryurazu, your attempted entry of the 4th of July is virtually four weeks too late, as per rule #3 in large print and bold in the original post.
Separately, many Americans are surprised to learn that in Australia, where you're from, they also have a Fourth of July!
(And in Australia they also have a 5th of July, and a 6th of July, and so on, lol).

Wow. Looks like the occasion is almost upon us. I tried to go by J's average post count per day and then moved it up assuming he'd be more active in light of the contest. Looks like I was off by about a month lol.

Looks like I was off by about a month lol. While I believe it may have been Yogi Berra who said, "It ain't over 'till it's over", it seems pretty clear that @lawest in all likelihood will win in a big margin over everyone else. It appears Grape that other than my guess, most others made the same erroneous assumption you did, and based their guesses possibly by looking at jbucks overall daily average. But his more recent daily average of posts is more than double that. Other than lawest, I'm the only other one that recognized that. My error in my guess is that I didn't know jbuck took days off. As such, my guess was nine days earlier than what lawest selected. But let's see what happens. Roughly about a week to go.

Quote: Looking good for @lawest I recognized that the day he made his guess about a month ago. I pm'd him that day, letting him know that in my opinion, it would clearly be either him or me. As noted in my post just above yours, my error was not taking into account days taken off from posting by jbuck. Looks like lawest will nail it right on the head! Good for him!!!!!!
