I'm reminded of a question I've long had about the design on this coin. Maybe someone here can answer it? Does the design with the wheat stalks forming a triangle include an error? Five of the six stalks have two lines, but the one at the top on the left has three. It seems like the designer/engraver mistakenly "forgot" to curve the second line of the left side's middle wheat stalk into the wheat spike. I'm curious if this was an error or was done by design?
