I bought this 1972 Eisenhower dollar (Variety 1) at the fall coin show in 2019. The toning on this is fantastic with a nice rainbow at different angles, if only I could capture it better.

This 1972-D Eisenhower dollar was purchased from ebay in 2018. The strike on this coin is fantastic in hand. Darth Morgan almost fought me for it.

I bought this 1972-S 40% Silver Eisenhower dollar at the fall coin show in 2019. I feel like I got lucky with this one, as I almost missed finding it. I did not hesitate buying once I did.

Time to continue the show with post number 99,900. This 1973 P & D pair were bought from M. Barr Coins back in 2018. The 1973 business strike Ikes were only available in the annual mint sets and not released for general circulation. This was a complete flip-flop from the previous two years where the business strikes were only available from circulation.

To close out 1973, we have what had for a long time been considered the King of the 32 coin series, before the 1972 varieties expanded it to 34 coins and made the 1972 Variety 2 the "It Ike." The 1973-S 40% Silver Eisenhower dollar Proof was the most expensive Ike in my Dansco album (completed in 1993). This PCGS version was bought from David Lawrence in the summer of 2019. What once was King ended up being one of my most affordable PCGS Ike purchases.

More you say? Okay, on to 1974 it is! First up, the 1974 P & D were bought as a pair on ebay back in early 2018.

This 1974-S 40% Silver Eisenhower dollar was bought on ebay in 2017, but a different seller. It is also the coin in the current round of GTP.
