Ok, its actually a dam, but I had to show it here.....
Its a fantastic note depicting the German eagle being 'squashed' under the weight of the war reparations, with the French cockerel in charge!

One can find almost every subject covered by the German notgeld. Animals, people, nudes, gnomes, windmills ships, soldiers, bridges.......you name it. The graphics are superb in most cases and it's the biggest reason I collect notgeld. So many beautiful pieces to stumble upon and you don't have to break the bank to acquire them (well most of them !!)
