Some Bank Roll Finds.

Got a little searching in this past weekend and found a minute, unlisted DDR, possibly to small to even list. There are only two listings for a 2020P DDR, one on cc that crosses with one of the two on Wexler.

Nice find!

An extremely abraded shield cent.

Went through about 400 nickels with my little plastic scope. Found lots of hornets nests in various stages of cracking. That weak spot on the side of Monticello is really interesting, because year after year, die after die, the hornets nest forms in the exact same two places, and then snakes a crack around to the companion spot.




Poor Felix Schlag might be sad to know that his initials are also a major weak spot on modern nickels.

My two favorites last. A nickel with a crumbling M and I. And then a full blown hornet explosion, rim to roof, and also rim to window sill.

Cool finds, Brandmeister! The more you search, you will discover that each denomination and type of design have weak spots in particular places.
