No luck... it kept showing up in my cart, but I kept getting a "wrong page" error message. Lovely...

I probably entered my credit card information 50 times. It never went through. Then I eventually got the invalid item in cart message. I have no way to know, but I bet that the bot masters have figured out how to screw with the new changes. I am so sick of this crap happening every time.

Yeah, I feel lucky I got all the morgans I wanted so I am not too upset, but it seems like a crap-shoot on who gets them. I hope to have better luck with the two-coin set but that is even more doubtful now.

Well that was strangely easier...got mine finally at 12:10 or so. I was a bit too late on enrollment so I didn't bother trying to turn it back on. This time the website was a lot more responsive, but each time I submitted the order I would just get a page not found *constantly*. Eventually it went through, but it's irritating the website response time is great but their ordering system is still crap.
Also looks like it's already sold out by 12:16 latest (didn't check earlier).

"The page you are looking for cannot be found"...
Saw that at least 50 times, along with "checking your browser" repeatedly. I was not able to get this item. Seem like whatever changed last week has tilted the odds against me.
Oh well.

Gone in 10 minutes, I managed to snag one. Terrible ordering process, kept on receiving the "Page you are looking for cannot be found" error. It would go immediately to that page, which tells me it's a default/diversion tactic when the servers are overwhelmed. It's to protect their servers from overheating, NOT the customer ordering experience. Whatever changes they made was to benefit the USMint, not enhancing the customer ordering process at all—which again says volumes as to the answer to "Does the US Mint really give two shakes about their customer base?"
Edit—The weird janky process change cause the order ack to be sent @ 9:07, however I didn't get completed order page until a full minute later. Odd, wonder if that was the case on the 10th which I never got through successfully. Whatever changed, it's now more of a crap shoot than before it. Good luck on the 24th—I'm too old for this juvenile hanky-panky, the great thing about maturity is having money to pay after market prices or trade up.

That was considerably more difficult to get than any of the Morgans/Peace. Even with this at 200k, it was gone in 10 min. Glad I got mine. Sadly we wont get it until middle of October... this is getting annoying but I bet they want to save on shipping and combine everyone's order. LOL I got mine at 12:08...

Quote: well that was an exercise in futility. Never got one, tried at least 20 times but got page not found each time. Oh well. I guess I didn't need it. Same here. And same sentiment.

I think it helps to have your CC info in your Mint account so you don't have to enter it at checkout. At checkout I click payment method and it auto fills in the numbers, a few seconds faster than manually entering, I assume a little better chance to get it to go through sooner before sellout?
Because of major hacking stories in the news, I hesitate to let any business or local utilities keep my CC info on their sites. I usaully enter on a purchase/payment basis. My brother is a cyber security expert for a state college. He told me what I do helps but business/gov. agencies have back up files that store CC info. The best hackers can get past the first layer of data without CC and into the back up files to get CC info. My brother also said the college he works for gets hundreds of computer hack attempts every week from all over the world, crooks trying to get info on students and staff.
I hope the Mint's cyber security is strong.

For those that did get an order in remember that they don't ship until October 14.

Wow... update. I have no idea what happened, but I just got a notice from the mint that my ASE-S just went through.
Like many others, I kept getting kicked to that page that said that the page couldn't be found. I never got an order confirmation screen and tried to get my order in until the sold-out message came at 12:11. Yet I was stunned when, 1 hour and 35 minutes after the sale started, I got an order confirmation email from the mint. My order was processed and is showing 'Processing' in my Mint account. Very weird good, but weird.
