Good question. Here is my answers.
I would say all my better coins (As in the Halfcrowns and EF NZ shillings, Aussie Florins etc) come off a site called Trade Me, which is Kiwi
ebay and I buy mostly off Established dealers and traders (My favourites are Bertrand Collectibles and John Eccles, both based in Wellington), most of the best coins come from them and I have a good relationship with these people.
Some trade me sales are from lesser traders and some individuals who may just have 1 or 2 coins that I like. Sadly some are scammers or I have fallen out with. There is a lot of crap on Trade me and you need to sort the diamonds from the dust.
The world fun mix is mostly from collections I pick up from friends of friends (One this June was friends of my Aunty down in Christchurch) and many from 2 ladies who run a mission shop and I buy all the coins from deceased states (Mostly common muck metal stuff) and pay a donation to. Plus a guy at my stamp club who brings me stuff from time to time.
Lately since mid 2020 I have traded with Australian members of CCF who know who they are and we do a mutual thing - Aussie modern for Kiwi modern and they like it (Take a bow Mr Triggersmob and David Graham). Also I bought a pile off another British member called AndyG which boosted my 19th century British silver greatly!
And then also the trades with Redlock who is feeding me nice German climate coins!
Finally 2 dealers, Shades stamp shop in Christchurch, NZ and Peter Eccles provide the rest, plus with whatever I can noodle out of change!
So about
65% Trade me dealers
25% Ladies for charity shops and buy ins
5% Triggersmob and David Graham (CCF members and all round good guys)
3% Bricks and mortar kiwi dealers
2% My noodling coins and notes out of change.
