Mine is the first four letters of my last name. Not very imaginative but is a nickname among friends. Perhaps it gives a negative impression and leaves some folks wondering....no fear I am not a confidence person :)

It's a jab at Mike Mezak (HSN-Coin Collector) for coming off like a sleazy used car salesman.

Quote: You're name is Numis and you work in ED(ucation)? I wish... But you should go back to cleaning your coins with Hydrogen Fluoride solution at your secret log cabin lab in the Jacinto mountains.

My name is simple, it's an old gamer tag I used to go by when I was a hard core gamer. At one point back in the day I was in the top 1000 players in the world for COD black ops(the original) for team death match. It started out as Ez2OwNyOu, but some people got confused and wrecked was taken so I became wrekkdd(in matches I used to say you just got wrecked) lol and iv used it for almost everything since. I actually got an offer to play in tournaments but I was in foster care and was not aloud to leave the country, weird that you can't just be a pro gammer from the comfort of your own home(minus all those YouTube stars)

Great thread...helps personalize things a bit, too. I'm already Googling "Plum Crazy Dodges." Anyway, in my case... In many languages deriving from Latin, the suffix "-ista" indicates a specialist in, or follower of, whatever the word it's attached to signifies, as in "fashionista" or "Sandinista." Since one of my two main collecting interests is the tokens definitively catalogued in 1922 by a guy named Richard Dalton, voila! Dalton's numbering system is still in use, so here's my Bible and stockbook: I've managed to accumulate almost 300 of them now, without duplication, but because of the absurd rarity (and cost) of many of them I can't imagine ever being able to complete the run. Nevertheless, I persist...thrill of the chase, and all that.

Ha, I've been wondering about this one myself ... Mines mrwhatisit since I have many items in my coin collection which have some level of wonder and questions arise as to what-it-is, or it could be more about a completely unknown type of old coin with weird symbols and I ask around here to try to get others opinions as to what-is-it?...

Princetane kind of explains itself.
Prince - My favourite musician and ongoing obsession since 1991 and Tane is my real name, its a Polynesian (Maori) name meaning man was the name bestowed upon me at my birth 45.58 years ago!

I was up against a brick wall as far as usernames are concerned, then one day while going through the race entries at Santa Anita (I'm a huge horse racing fan) I saw a horse named Deputy Max. Since I have 2 son-in-laws who are police officers I figured that it was a sign and that's been my username everywhere I go since then.
