the_sifu = the master or teacher. sifu pronouced as "see-foo"

Ip Man (Bruce Lee's Wing Chun grandmaster) is a sifu.

I'm just a fan of martial arts movies. I loved watching them since I was a kid of the 70s and 80s.

Data Dragon has been my main computer/gaming 'alias' since the 1980s, at the time it was originally from a merger of two topics I enjoyed, computers & fantasy actually. Much later, people sometimes also thought I spewed great information (Data) out like a fire breathing dragon and so that also is what some might think is the basis of the username.

Curly started with my grandfather. It was his first name and passed down to my father and myself as middle names. 82 ABN because I served in the 82nd Airborne Division for most of my 8 years in the Army.

Hi, I collect only pennies, so Copper is my Metal. Plus, I'm a Libra and the metal associated with that sign is Copper. :)

Great thread! Fascinating to hear all the creativity behind your names! And I feel like I got to know you a bit more! Cool!

My username is pretty straightforward, and boring!
No history of taking part in any exciting pastimes, the army or awesome jobs. Sorry to disappoint!

Jess1234
My name is Jessie and the numbers are just easy for me to remember.
Yup! Told you it's boring!

Still haven't read about Coinfrog's name! Waiting.

Been away from the hobby for a few years (it feels like). I'm mostly a collector based on what I find in circulation, so Covid is blame.

Anyway, the username, should be evident!

No, Phil is not my name. It's one of my favorite verses from the Bible. Philippians 3:10.

250 = the Ferrari 250 series of cars

What's-The-Meaning-To-Your-Username?

Way back in 1999 when I got my first computer I was still building model cars and going to 1:1 scale car shows. So I never changed that "handle".
