I could post here two nice Maria II half crowns I just picked. While you wait to show your new coins :D If you do not mind? Have been wondering how these would be graded in the scale used there. But do not think they deserve their own topic.

jecz79, you'll get more responses if you start a new topic for your coins (better, one for each coin).

I think you should post in your own thread. I would love to see them though.

I always thought Germany was efficient! Not only did DHL mess up the first shipment, It took 8 days to ship it to US! But at least I have movement.

The Portuguese coin I ordered on October 16th from a German seller is out on delivery. I guess it was shipped fairly quickly as it was sent by regular mail, not DHL.

Few more updates. Still slower than I expected. Usually the packages gets to JFK fast and then sits there. This time it just sat in Germany.

This order was a long time coming.
I reached out to the dealer on September 29. We worked out a deal on October 2. I asked for DHL instead of Deutsche Post, assuming it would be faster and I would get tracking. The shop was closed for German Unification day. Shop shipped on Oct 10. Package was returned on Oct 14 Package was shipped again on Oct 15. Got to export Parcel center on Oct 16 Stayed at the export center for 8 days. On Oct. 24 the package went to the Airport. Got to the US on Oct 25, cleared customs on the 26 and is currently at the JFK Distribution center.
I think I could have walked to Germany faster than the package has moved.

Use Deutsche Post instead of DHL. My coin just took about 9 days to be shipped and delivered.

Checking daily for the reveal Quote: jecz79, you'll get more responses if you start a new topic for your coins (better, one for each coin). Those two are not deserving of a dedicated topic but I start one when I have better ones.
