@walk2dwater: Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I agree with you regarding the placement of watermarks on notes. I was "surprised" by your "colourful" comment because I had been told that the decision regarding inclusion of a watermark was/is generally made early in a note's design process and that it was independent of how colorful a note was to be; accommodations for a watermark are made well before a final design is determined/approved.

Regarding the 1992 note, I've been told that the primary reason for not including a watermark on it was that the note was not considered a major counterfeiting target. It was planned more as souvenir piece for collectors that would have a limited run vs. a long-term circulation piece that would be produced over the long term.

Lovely lovely notes. Of all the commonwealth/ British empire note I have I'd have to say the Bahamas notes are my favorite because of how colorful they are. Do you plan on doing this kind of post for other denominations of the Bahamian dollar?
