I buy from jeffscoins for things like this. Might not be the absolute cheapest but it has always been good service.

I've bought from jeffscoins before, but looking at the recent listings, it looks like he's gouging for those S mint BU strikes.

Quote: Is anyone messing with the S mint Women's quarters? Looks like dealers/Ebay-ers are charging crazy prices for a single coin out of the rolls...like $8-10. I was wondering what was going on with the S mint quarters. I know in the past you could buy the S mint roll by itself but now its limited and as a set (PDS) It looks like the product limit is up to 7620 which would mean there are about 304,800 of these S quarters available. I guess that would explain the price increase.

On a different note, the Woman Quarter silver proof set was released today, However the mint ran my enrollment 2 days ago my order was in and confirmed on the 27th.

The prices and availability of the San Francisco quarters will stabilize, as 304,000 or so is just too many in the long term for them to be considered scarce, especially given they will all be uncirculated and not enter the commerce stream. My supplier gets me one, and for the first two issues I have bought two from another supplier, as these are limited to five rolls per household and my primary supplier has all of his spoken for. I do not have a 2nd and 3rd lined up for the remaining issues, so they may just wait. In the past I have only ordered one and had no idea of the demand for these.

I'm a bit surprised that it took so long (relatively) for the women's quarters silver set from today to sell out. Mine was an enrollment order so I had no concerns, but I checked the product all day and it seems only now did it reach unavailable status.

Perhaps many of the buyers, like myself, are waiting for the full silver proof sets to come out. Meanwhile, my enrollment for the full clad set is ready for its release next week.

Quote: Meanwhile, my enrollment for the full clad set is ready for its release next week. yep! me too. I'm getting 2 sets - one to keep in OGP with all my others, and one to crack out for my Dansco albums. Now that I have all the albums for all the modern coins, I have a place to put them. Although, I'm having to modify each on for the new stuff because Dansco is pretty lazy in updating their albums.

I am holding off on cracking the new quarter lenses until I see what Dansco comes up with. I am also holding the Innovation dollar lenses (for those unaware, these are not sold with the full sets). Not sure if Dansco will ever get right, but I am not in a rush.

The coins in these rolls are struck to an uncirculated finish. I believe the S mint will continue to bring a good premium, maybe not at the level they are currently, but at the current 300k mintage level still very desirable.

Well, my P/D/S Sally Ride quarters came in the mail today from my dealer. I did NOT get a "BTW..." message with them. So, it seems the remaining 9 quarters for this year will come to me without any changes.
