I gotta think that there's still a limit close to 10,000. Those blanks are not standard, and I can't imagine the USM has a supply of blanks well over 10,000. I'm getting mine ordered on Day 1.

Me too, there may not be a day 2. And I hope to get all the 2.5oz military medals (the 1oz ones too)

I agree, and think there is a good chance that page will be updated to indicate 10K. I don't recall, did the previous 2.5 oz military medals have HHL of 1?

I'm pretty sure they did. All of them sold out, but some took a few days. This will sell out too.

Like Dearborn, I intend to get one of the big boy size and also one of each of the 1oz once they start releasing.

Enrollment is open for the August 16th one ounce US Air Force medal. Does not seem to have a quantity limit.

Ok that is done - But I wonder if it will include the other branches of 1oz medals or just the Air Force?

That's a good question. It does call the enrollment "Armed Forces" and says this coin is "Next in Program". I think you are correct in suspecting that it may be for all branches.

Well, I sure hope so, I will still attempt to find out either by a phone call or that on-line chat thing they have.

Well last night, I'm certain it said "Air Force" Enrollment - now it says "Armed Forces" Enrollment. The question remains here is that did the mint change it, or did I see it all wrong? (I'm sticking with "The mint fixed it" theory.)

The United States Navy Medal released earlier this year did have a household limit of one, and I brought one. They were on sale for two or three days before selling out. I did not tray to buy the two medals issued in 2021, so I do not know about them other than the mintage cap was and remains 10,000 for all issues of the 2.5 ounce variety.

I have also enrolled in the one ounce Armed Forces Medal program which will cover all six issues starting in 2022 and continuing in 2023 and 2024.
