Quote:Quote: Will it come back again later this year? Possibly, if enough people choose to be reminded... Quote: We are currently out of this item, but more may be available later. If you provide your email address or cell number using the "REMIND ME" button, you will receive any back-in-stock messages we send related to this product. There were 88,909 2017 sets sold, 86,694 2018 sets sold, 79,416 2019 sets sold to date and they're still available, and 60,242 2020 sets sold to date and they're still available. The product wasn't available in 2021 as there were only the 2 quarters. With the previous sales figures for this product, it's hard to believe that the Mint only planned a production of the current sales figure of 42,368 for 2022. I believe the current not available status will go away and these sets will once again be available later on as their production increases to historical levels. Of course only time will tell, but I wouldn't be too anxious to pay a premium in the aftermarket for this set just yet.

Once upon a time I wanted to be a collector of the AGE tenth-ounce Eagles. I have a number of them but I cannnot justify the prices now. For me this year is shaping up to be just a subscription year (ASEs and mint sets). My wallet is happy.

Quote: They probably flipped a coin. I hoped they minted one proof 2022 Morgan and used that to flip a coin to see if they will skip this year or not.

Anyone in for the colorized purple heart commemorative? I'll get it, it is being pre-sold on ebay for over $200 and only 25K mintage.

The "product limit" is 25,000, but the mintage is 400,000 across all formats. Defer to veteran mint watchers to decipher that, and whether the other formats include the colorized version.

Sure, if you want to get technical. But there were only be up to 25K colorized versions of the proof silver. Any other colorized versions would be listed as a separate product, and there aren't any.

I will NOT be buying a purple heart commem - even though I served in the military for 12 years and got injured while serving - it was not a combat injury, I think that these should be reserved for those that WERE injured in combat.

Yep easy to get. I did get the page not found after first try, but second try worked.

Stats: 2880 sold the first minute, and ten minutes later just 152/min, with almost 16K left (63%).
