Here's a medal honoring the fourth President of the United States, James Madison (1751-1836); the medal is part of the New York University - Hall of Fame for Great Americans series.
Madison is often referred to as the "Father of the Constitution" for his central role in the drafting of the US Constitution and its accompanying Bill of Rights.
