The OP stated the grade it came back as so TPG graded it authentic, I don't know much about the Morgan series and have yet to purchase my first one as I hear how addicting it can be, I believe the nostril was most likely polished down while trying to remove the die clash but I'm sure someone with much more experience with Morgan's could give a definitive answer.
