Congrats Bump111. Did you get some of these, way back when? For those interested, this was one of the first five coins I ever purchased. I saw an add for the now-famous GSA CC silver dollars in the back of a magazine. The ad was for five coins for a grand total of $75. I admit I was wooed in part by the plastic so I scraped the $ together. This is the last one I have left after selling the other 4 in the early 90's for $55 each. Hope everyone enjoyed this trip down memory lane and good luck in the next 9 rounds.

Great story! $75 was a lot of scratch back then.

Wow! First time hitting it out of the gate. I was a little too young to take advantage of those GSA deals, but I read about how much they sold for and took a stab. Still waiting for my first CC Morgan. Yours is great.

Many thanks @ petespocket for sharing the origin story of this GSA coin.
Your message explaining the coins provenance is exactly the purpose of our wonderful game slight pause between rounds.

I saw a mint receipt the other day that showed some of these selling for $45....& another piece of mint paperwork that showed bids starting at $15. Obviously I picked the wrong number.

$75.00 in 1975 is the equivalent of $402.89 in 2022.
