Quote: In the meantime, Welcome to this Club. :) Thank you :) Quote: I am a Prestige MC member and I had no problem ordering the coin. As a Diamond Tier MC member you should have received the earliest advance notice for new releases. The only reason I could think of is your rep forget to place your order. The notice for Diamond members came on Monday midnight. You should have gotten a notice from you rep on Tuesday that your order has been placed. Since you did not get such a notice you should have contacted your rep right away because the coins were still available Wednesday and your rep could have filled your order. Thanks for the advice, I'll try that next time. I only recently started ordering directly from my rep since previously RCM didn't assign me one despite meeting the thresholds for the greater part of a year... Like you said, I was probably better off ordering directly from the site since I was able to snag an incuse last year. Its really annoying to think that my rep may have forgotten since I didn't get an email confirming my order until Thursday evening telling me it's sold out... Looking at my previous and only order with the rep it took 2 weeks for the order to be confirmed which I'm guessing is not normal based on the comments.

Quote: Looking at my previous and only order with the rep it took 2 weeks for the order to be confirmed which I'm guessing is not normal based on the comments. No... not normal. I am MC Diamond and I get the advance notices around 9PM (PT) on the Monday night. If there is something I am interested in, I will usually reply by 9AM (PT) Tuesday and will have confirmation by end of day Tuesday. From time to time, if a particular issue is perceived to have a greater demand than others, my rep will send me a note at the same time as the announcement whereby if I am interested, I will reply on the Monday night. I realize that 9PM PT is actually midnight ET and I don't expect my rep to be online but they do work through their email inbox in an "as received" sequence. The only time I had an issue was when my rep was out and my reply/order was addressed out of sequence by the person covering for them. I would recommend active follow up if your rep is out for whatever reason. One thing that does annoy me is that I can order within minutes of the release email, have the order confirmed within 24 hrs but have it take months to receive the coin when I can see it on the shelf of my LCS the next weekend. I would prefer to run my business through my LCS but acknowledge that they don't get the Master Club Exclusives and are also shut out of some of the higher demand items (such as the Peace $ series) ... I maintain the MC membership tier for this reason alone.

Now that the April release is available for everyone to see...
When I first heard of the new Bald Eagle coin, my interest was piqued. Coins that feature designs with a Bald Eagle in a natural setting is one of the topical themes that extends my collecting beyond my focus on Canada's silver dollars (SDs).
When I saw it, however, I was disappointed. I've just never been a fan of the Mint's multi-faceted animal coins. It's clear from comments posted here, and elsewhere, that they have a solid following but they're just not for me.
Any other opinions on the new multifaceted Bald Eagle coin?
For me, it's "wait 'til next month!"

Questions on the Majestic Polar Bear... Will this be available as a stand alone bullion coin as the Treasured Maple Leaf. Same coin just without the 'special''limited' packaging? And has anyone seen the Treasured Maple Leaf or Majestic Polar Bear in person? I am wondering if the coin is in an actual capsule or just the plastic packaging. I contacted a rep at the RCM and sadly couldn't get a definite answer. Thanks.

@New1954 Thanks. So because of the limited mintage on these you just can't remove the capsule like you could with the Treasured Maple Leaf?

Quote: Any other opinions on the new multifaceted Bald Eagle coin? The previous multifaceted animal heads were very impressive looking with great detail. The new coin is just too busy looking, the eagles are small, barely visible among the other things on the coin.

Quote: The new coin is just too busy looking, I agree. The overall appearance is "busy" to my eyes as well.

RCM already produced a polar bear 1/10 oz gold bullion coin in 2020. So this year's version could be a continuation of the gold polar bear series. Nothing prevents RCM from producing a standalone bullion coin without premium packaging. In fact, they are incentivized to produce as many as possible, in order to maximum the product's profit margin. But this is my guess. Quote: I am wondering if the coin is in an actual capsule or just the plastic packaging. Based on RCM product page videos, the Majestic Polar Bear coins are in capsules.

I received the following two coins: 1. Super Incuse Silver Maple Leaf (ordered from TSC) 2. The Majestic Polar Bear Silver: First Strikes (ordered from RCM) Unfortunately, the gold first strikes are sold out at RCM. Does anyone know where I can get it?
