This topic reminded me of this satirical token produced by Germany during WWI (ND; 1916) called "The Devil and John Bull". The Numista listing does not provide an adequate translation, and Google Translate was little better. The obverse features a strangely conjoined inverted heads of the devil and John Bull, while the reverse features a similar depiction involving a Russian soldier and a French one. Legends: Englische tück' Belgiens geschick "English piece of Belgian skill" (obverse); Die hiebe Frankreich aus liebe telit mit Russland "France shares the blows for love with Russia" (reverse). Inverted images: Numista listing: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/ex...a120808.html
