Day 39A lot fewer new finds this week as the harder to find coins are proving to be, well, harder to find.

Day 46This week I finally found a 1972 coin to complete the 5 cent set. Given how grubby it is I would be pretty disappointed if it was the only 1972 five cent I had ever found. However, I have found several better ones over the years, so I am more than happy to be done with the 5 cent portion of this challenge. These are the other new finds for the week: Still looking for: 2001 Tasmania, Norfolk Island and Victoria 20c 1966 and 1985 50c and a whole bunch of A-Z $1 coins and coloured $2 coins A new set of 2022 A-Z one dollar coins was released this week, so I guess I'm in for even more fun over the next few months.

I have been reliably informed that 2 new coloured circulating two dollar coins have been released: 2022 frontline workers 2022 honey bee. I wonder how hard to find these will prove to be.

Day 67The new finds are really slowing down. Just the 4 A-Z coins this week. Surprising that I didn't find any more of the 2022 letter coins after that initial burst last week. Coins still to find: 20c: 2001 Tasmania and Norfolk Island 50c: 1966 and 1985 $1 (32 A-Z coins): 2019 B,C,D,G,H,K,L,O,P,R,T,W,Z 2021 B 2022 B,C,D,E,G,H,I,J,L,O,P,Q,R,S,T,W,X,Z $2: 2013 purple coronation 2015 red ANZAC 2016 green, blue, black Olympic ring 2017 rosemary Remembrance 2017 red Possum Magic 2019 Repatriation 2020 Firefighters 2022 Honey Bees

You know that you probably won't noodle a 1966 50 cent coin - so maybe check that off the list, the coin has about $10 worth of silver in it.
When did you noodle a Red Poppy $2?

When did you noodle a Red Poppy $2? Much more likely to noodle 1966 50c than 2012 red poppy. Red Poppy $2 isn't really a circulation coin. Surely if 1966 50 cent should be off the list than red poppy $2 shouldn't be on there either. I did actually find a red poppy in circulation back in 2013. I posted it recently on this thread: https://www.coincommunity.com/forum...IC_ID=408421
