Love hearing that enthusiasm in your desrciption. It should bring a smile to everyone's face here and a spark to their soul.

I'll guess 3815 grams

The contest is to guess the weight of my binder full of loonies.

the weight of 10 loons, to open up the contest.

Sorry but are we guessing the weight of the coins and binder OR the weight of ten loonies in a binder and 2x2?

As I only collect U.S. coins, I'm not familiar with Canadian monetary .
when you say Loonies I only know these to be some kind of weird bird so I'm thinking binders must be a holding pen for your Loonie birds . How am I supposed to figure out the weight in grams for a pen full of Loon birds ?

in honor of the year of the formation of Rush. Any bonus points for guessing Canadian-themed numbers?

Hi Spence, you were one of the 1st members to welcome me when I signed on, I remember, you may not, but thanks, at that time it was so nice. Glad you popped by.

Great idea for bonus coins. For sure, if the guesser can relate Canada some how with their guess, and they win, bonus mystery coins will be awarded. So far we have 3, yourself, kieth12 for 1967 and nfine for 2112. Keep them coming. .

Quote:
I guess 1394.2 grams from Canada with 4 staples per 2x2 and 3 screws in the binder!

Sorry Oz, not my coin. . I only use 2 staples as the winners will see. Those 3 screws are "loose" too, just like some of your questions on 20 Q's. Your a hoot and always keep things interesting. Glad you guessed. The flag is red and white by the way.

Quote:
I'll assume it's 2275 grams.

You must say....My guess is.....Opp's wrong game. . Don't worry Slerk, you're in.

Congrats on the 1000 posts

Give me a month and then we'll see. You're in.

My guess is 1967 grams

Fantastic year for Canadian coins, and to be born. . You feel like a neighbour, we know each other so well. A heartfelt thanks for the fun we have shared, and cheers to more. .

We all do. You've been teased on the subject before, so don't try and pull that here. .

Wrekkdd, we are pretty close in locations, you in the Hammer, me in the Patch. One of these days we need to hook up in T.O. for a show and a beverage. I can see it happening some day. You're in. Good luck.

Trig, you have known what I've been up to from the start, along with some others close friends who have yet to show up. They will, and I'll tease them just like you. You better not win, or they will think there is a conspiracy going on here. .

Insider info......I have yet to weigh the binder, so I don't even know the correct guess. Keeps it interesting. .

I'm flattered. Thanks for the compliment Pete. Life is better when the glass is half full. You're in.

mcshilling, it's the full weight of all the coins and pages and 2X2's, not just 10 loons. What was meant, was the winners guess must be within 70 grams to win, or you all guess again.

Oh Tony.....stirring it up again eh brother. I know you got an empty envelope full of Canadian coins, so you can't fool me. .

That would be straight jackets my friend, and I make them look goooood.

How did I know that conversion would mess you up? That's why I did it. . Love ya brother, be sure to guess when you're done giving me the gears. . You better not win either.

Sounds like a plan, I have been insanely busy this year and still have yet to make my first coin show. I will have my licence this year, already have a vehicle waiting to go
