I watched a video by Son of a Silver Stacker on YouTube where is shows how the mint is showing different weights for the silver coins. Do y'all think this is accurate or do you think the mint just messed up the specifications somehow?

I ordered my silver proof set on the first day they were available, and just received the email that it's being shipped. "Label created" status at the moment.

This is the first year since I re-started buying proof sets from the mint in 1999 that I'm only getting the silver set. I prefer those, anyway, and will probably be selling my regular proof sets from 1999-2021 in the not-too-distant future. I'll take a loss on them, but the cost wasn't that much, anyhow...

In Transit, Arriving On Time
Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered by the expected delivery date. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

You know, you can have both.

Tracking status says USPS is still waiting to receive my shipment. This is going to take forever...

That's always been my thinking.

However, over the past year or two I've been selling off some parts of my collection where I've lost interest; for each subset of my collection I've been asking myself "Am I collecting in this area or just accumulating?". For the silver proof sets, I really enjoy them and will continue my collection. My answer, however, on the clad proof sets was that I was just accumulating those, so they'll likely go...

Part of this is thinking ahead (hopefully many, many years ahead!) when my heirs have to deal with my collection. None of them have any interest in it, so I'm in a better position to take care of selling off the stuff I've just been accumulating, and at the same time allowing me to better focus on the areas I truly love. Which, as you probably have seen from my posts, still covers a wide range of collecting interests...

I'm collecting all sets for now, and when I get too old to appreciate my collection anymore, I'll sell it off.

My set arrived at the local post office today, but well after my carrier made her rounds. I expect to see it tomorrow, a day earlier than promised.
