Here's a pair from 2007...the Silver Dollar and Gold Half Eagle that commemorate the 400th anniversary of the original settlement at/of Jamestown in Virginia. The US isn't quite old enough to have too many coins commemorating milestone 400th anniversaries! (The 1892 World's Columbian Exposition - Columbus Half Dollar was another, however, marking the 400th anniversary of Columbus' first Voyage of Discovery to the New World!)

The Colony at Jamestown was founded by a group of 104 men and boys from England who went ashore on May 13, 1607 after a 145-day voyage across the Atlantic and along the Virginia coast (they left England on December 20, 1606); the colonists first went ashore at Cape Henry (present-day Virginia Beach) on April 26, 1607 but the site did not meet the settlement criteria created by the colony's sponsor - the Virginia Company. The three ships in which the colonists traveled then spent just over two weeks exploring the Virginia coast and its inland waterways before finding the Jamestown site. The Colony was named after King James I.

Each of the program's coins includes the dual dates of "1607" and "2007" on its obverse. My collection includes the Uncirculated version of each coin; Proof versions of each coin were also available.

Dual-dated is too easy. Make it triple-dated.

At more than 162 million items (books, newspapers, photographs/images, maps, movies, sound recordings, etc.), the Library of Congress (LoC) is the largest library in the world. It was authorized in 1800 as a library for members of Congress, though it is open to the public (for those age 16 and older).

In 2000, the US Mint struck a pair of coins - a Silver Dollar and a Gold/Platinum Bimetallic $10 coin - to commemorate the LoC's 200th anniversary. The Silver Dollar includes the dual dates "1800" and "2000" on its obverse, along with an open book in the foreground and the symbolic "torch of learning" in the background. The reverse design of the coin presents the dome of the Library's Thomas Jefferson Building. The Mint's Thomas D. Rogers designed the obverse, John Mercanti created the reverse.

The Bimetallic coin does not feature dual dates.

Here are images of my Uncirculated version of the Silver Dollar:

The US White House in Washington, DC (the "President's House") was designed by Irish-born architect James Hoban.

Construction began on the White House in 1792 with the laying of its cornerstone. Though construction continued through George Washington's administration, it was not completed in time for Washington to take up residence. The first US President to live in the White House was John Adams and his wife Abigail; Adams was the Second President.

In 1992 the US Mint struck a Silver Dollar marking the 200th anniversary of the landmark residence. The coin's obverse design presents the North Portico of the White House; the dual dates of its anniversary "1792" and "1992" flank the flag pole atop the structure. The coin's reverse design depicts James Hoban along with the Hoban-designed Main Entrance to the DC mansion.
