Welcome to the Millienium, for some reason I think of Robbie Williams and Y2K along with the Vengaboyz!   NZ coins, the first $1 coin since 1991 and only 10c and 5c I will only do selected NZ coins before 1980 as I cover them well before that date in the 6th edition (So you will all be spared).   Norway 20 Kroner  Another Turkish 100k lira. These coins were larger than the 2002 ones.   Turkiye 50,000 Lira - this coin is larger than above and was first issued a few years earlier. |

I've got a 2000-D Virginia quarter (ex @jeffrose, I believe) representing the State Quarters in my 7070 album...   Would you believe I had no pics for 2001? My next entries with pre-existing photos are 1996 (x2), 1993, 1990, and then 1986, I think. I have all the intermediate years, of course (and every year past that up to the late 18th century) - will try to remember to make and upload pictures for the 8th edition! Maybe I should make my own walking-back thread somewhere - just not sure where would be allowed. |

If it helps, my 80s, 90s and even 70s will be sparse and only when we hit Predecimal days will my collection really come alive.   The rest of those 2000 Quarters set - I have a proof set of them   Samoan 10 and 50 sene - high grade. |

Welcome back to the historic 20th century and 2nd millienium AD. In that ancient yeare where ye medievale songstress Maid Britney Speares got her start as a singing troubador with "Baby one more time"  Year of old people and Last Anzacs (NCLT) Dollars from Australia  Circulation coins of 1999 - Australia  Obverses   1999 NZ just a $2 coin and 5 cents. Coin issuing was extrememly sparse in the 1990s with NZ, some years had no coins at all. It was the first year NZ and Australia used the Ian Rank Broadley portrait of the Queen. Edited by Princetane
