Cool, the year of Covid and my posting on CCF started to ramp up and my love affair with Halfcrowns began, Florins joining the love in by the middle of the year.  Germany released the 4th coin in their climate coins series. It showed a reindeer in a frigid tundra landscape, in the subpolar zone. Welcome to 2019 the high point of the Pre Covid era. 2019 was to the 21st century what Sep 1938 - Aug 1939, 1913 and 1928 was to the 20th century! The boom before the storm! Back to Germany we know graduate to the temperate zone.  The hare in autumnal/ meadow scene is now prominent, colour bands on the Polymer are green.  This photo shows the colour better on coins of the 5 mints. |
