I have an update from the family.

Tony had a quadruple bypass this morning. He is in recovery and doing well. Great news.

You watch, T-BOP will feel like a new man when he recovers, and he'll be even more active here. Oh boy.

He won't be around until he's ready, so put him in your thoughts. .

I'll update when I get news.

Quadruple bypass? Didn't realize it was that major a procedure.

It was just supposed to be stents. Apparently they needed to go further. The news floored me too. He's going to be just fine, the old tough guy sailor.

Don't worry Buddy, we got you covered. I'll run your numbers for you and we'll find somebody to take care of your other "concessions".

Good thoughts and gravy coming your way.

Ouch. Looks like you outdid my bypass count too. I hope they made improvements there as well. Sore chest, sore legs for a few weeks. Thoughts are with you.

Thanks for the update, loonielewy. It's surprising to hear about going from stents to a quad bypass, but I know the doc's plans can drastically change when they get in there and take a closer look. I've had a couple close family members who've had similar experiences...

All the best, T-Bop!
