This is the first time I have been closest guess in a long time. Too long. And of course I missed the first 2 rounds this season. Go figure. I guess I have to hone my guessing skills.

Congrats Perfesser. You swooped in and came away smiling.
This coin was produced to celebrate the visit of King George VI and future Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to Ottawa. Choosing this coin was a coincidence, but fitting in hindsight, coming on the heels of Queen Elizabeth passing away.
I don't collect these Canadian dollars. I was just following an auction by placing a low-ish bid and I happened to win. Looking at my images makes me think the seller had strategically placed their lighting so as to diminish the obverse circulation hits. This is definitely one of those coins that are much better looking in hand.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
