The spot close at the close of business for the two metals involved in the contest was as follows: Copper - $1.51 lb Nickel - $4.25 lb TOTAL - $5.76 This makes.... jser THE 1st Place Winner! His guess was $5.77, just a penny (cent!) off! Second place with $5.79 goes to.... SHAFTA9a Third place...there was a tie! But, I did put up a post part way through the contest, stating that the tiebreaker would go to the guess that didn't go over the actual amount Therefore, with a guess of $5.71....
