Around 80% of these are Australian Pennies, 30.8mm dia. 11.3g when minted

Congrats ttkoo, and nice prize!

However, I think you are confusing the weight of a penny with that of a florin (and 20 cent coin). A penny weighs 9.45 grams.

Anyway I guess 555 coins in your bucket.

Yes of course. Dr Google gave me the wrong answer for weight. Apologies to all of the mathemeticians out there.

Rule #3 you are on our own to watch the guess and not put in a double guess, well that's the way I read it.

My math is no good and old age later.

Aw man, with the new accurate number for how much they weigh...it seems only fair the handful of us should be allowed to change our guess.

I love being in control!

RULE 7. In light of the bogus weight information previously supplied all entrants can now have TWO guesses!

Can a moderator please add this rule 7 to the opening post as well?

I will do a summation of previous guesses later today, AUS time.

Oh, and poor much maligned Dr. Google.
It would appear the on inspection it was the Royal Australian Mint at fault. The answer changes depending on how the query is worded.
The correct weight is 9.45 grams
