That IS a coin representing the San Antonio MISSIONS. Oxleigh was correct. That coin was part of the America The Beautiful Coin Series. The Missions are a National Park property. It WAS released into circulation. Some have been found from "S" and even "W" in circulation. They were probably salted into rolls, would be my guess.

So the "S" made a big difference to right or wrong identification? Picky, picky!

We do like to be exact in our games, but either way Oz,s 2 guesses were wrong, with too much information. First guess was W mint and second was proof. Wrong on both counts.
