Just cracked and added a 1901-S - Formerly NGC F12 This is technically the last coin I needed. I now have a complete set. I just have to either find duplicates of the 1892-S and 1907-O, or crack them out. I am having a hard time bringing myself to crack these two because they are green bean PCGS. I also have 6 coins on my upgrade list, for when upgrades come along. As soon as I have all the holes in the Dansco filled, I will post pictures and stats about the completed set!

Incredible accomplishment, ericgreen! That 1901-S is a beauty! Can't wait to see the completed set! Quote: just have to either find duplicates of the 1892-S and 1907-O, or crack them out. I get that, I have several slabbed semi-keys and keys for my Barber dime set that I haven't decided whether to crack or not. . .

This is a duplicate for one I hadn't cracked out. Bought it raw. So now I have that hole physically filled in the album

That's great! A very nice half! Having a coin in the hole is much more satisfying.

It's been awhile since I have posted an update. It has been slow going looking for the the 5 or 6 coins I am looking to upgrade. Here are two more recents upgrades. 1896-O (Cracked from ANACS F12) - Incredibly hard to find coin. There were a couple that went for enormous prices in PCGS holders recently. I wasn't able to bring myself to pay up for those. I finally found this one for a fair price. It replaces one that didn't have as nice of originality. 1903-S (Cracked from ANACS F12) - Another very hard to find coin without issues or old cleaning. Very happy with this one. Replaces a not as attractive example in my Dansco.
