I noticed this 1946 henning listed on ebay earlier. listing is already gone congrats on selling the coin. wondering did you get the $800? Also did anybody on coin community purchase this item?

I think the site took out. By policy you can sell only legitim coins except is mention it is reproduction.

As example: 5 Cent Henning reproduction.

This is one of them contemporary counterfeits that almost all serious nickel collectors wanted to own, and even most curious ones would also like to hold one, that said what chances are there possibility of finding one in the wild these days?

Macmercury these are still being pulled from the wild actually. The owner of this one messaged me saying he was roll searching when he found this one.. in my personal collection I actually have a 1939 henning with the looped R and die crack on reverse that I found in a box of older nickel that was at a thrift store assume the owner had no idea that was in there. Best rare find I've ever had myself
