I was glad too since it was from a rather new member and a YOUNG NUMISMATIST which was the whole idea behind this contest. Nobody had objected to my allowing this guy a YN bonus guess as I did make notation next to his guess but I don't believe he has been back to the forum since? Still at 32 posts for the last week. Kinda makes it a tough call. But there is no hard and fast rule on CCF as to who can enter a contest, only for who can sell and buy or auction. Closest entries were from Starman YN 900 off by 5 but ..... nuggethill bonus guess 876 off by 29 Jser YN guess: 952 off by 48 dreamstones bonus-857 off by 48 nancyc Bonus ... 961 off by 57 However, I did say in the rules there was a lot to read and it plainly said PLUS I will also give an extra guess to any young numismatists (under 21) out there who have made the required 50 quality posts. These people also get a second guess! Post like this: Evening ...guess YN Bonus ... guess What I've decided to do is award the main prize to the one eligible closest guess which is nuggethill bonus guess 876 off by 29 and if Starman comes back here and posts in the next couple or few days and PM's me I will send him the set of 1943 PDS cents I mentioned I had as an exact bonus. If he does not respond, then the offer is nil. I'll try to write him so he knows what is going on. He does not have a PM or email link in his profile. I sure hope this is fair. CONGRATS to nuggethill and Starman ( where ever you are ) and thank you everyone for playing. IMPORTANT: If nuggethill thinks I should send the first prize to Starman I will do that and award nuggethill with the BU STEEL CENTS as well.
