I purchased this dime for my 7070 book. The 1833 10c had a total mintage of 485,000 for that year, and some of them come with the last 3 set high by the diesinker. It's believed he intended a curved date, and set the last 3 slightly high. There are two different die marriages with the high 3 and both use the same Obverse, the difference is on the Reverse. There is a JR-5 version and a JR-7. The JR-5 is my version which is the more common of the two although still rare. The AM of America is separated and the final A in America touches the upper arrowhead. The JR-7 version is very rare and the PUP's are the opposite of above. I will keep a lookout for a better version of this for my 7070, but for now, I'm happy to have this variety in my book.

I knew it was a high 3. Just didn't have a clue to the value.
