I definitely liked the idea of a book or guide. Maybe not even for the purpose of selling, but rather purely to expand—ever so slightly—the knowledge of mankind. So many of the books on this topic are either ridiculously expensive or very low quality for actual information. There is room to make real contributions on narrowly focused areas.

Was rummaging through my (very untidy) office and came across a few forgotten about coins, one was a Gordian III and the other I think the portrait is Philip I, can you confirm if I am correct or not and if possible point me in the direction of getting a full description please.
Weight is 19 grams & measures 31 mm. Thank you.

Thank you Bob. I can now slot it away with my other Philip coins.
I'm after a nice Trajan Decius next, then will have a look for Otacilia and expand from there.

My latest addition, Domitian.
Was a steal at 25 GBP, IMO.

Also sharp MD, GREAT details! Plus some sweet flow lines, I'm kind of a sucker for those!

Me too! One of the reasons I am mainly grabbing Antoninianus coins.
Spotted a few more on vcoins I like the look of but they are a bit on the high value side.

Otacilia Severa from the postman today. Not as crisp as the others but still a nice coin.

Going to concentrate on the Caesars I think for a while, unless something nice pops up.
