Mauritius Half Rupee 1934:  This coin was introduced in 1934. By the time further coins of this denomination were required, George V had died and been succeeded by George VI. The Mauritus Half Rupee is still being struck to this day with the same reverse design by Kruger Gray, although obviously no longer in silver! |

Love that coin!
A bit of a history lesson - as I'm sure most of us know, George V was a prolific stamp collector, and he owned one of the world's rarest stamps, the Mauritius "Post Office" issues of 1847.
