thq Pillar of the Community United States 3343 Posts	Posted 08/22/2023 11:16 pm I did the same thing with a 1794 Half Dime that came back from NGC as a no-grade, and was offered to me at a very attractive price. My go-to dealer thought is was the real thing, and that's good enough for me. Your 1889-CC looks pretty nice compared to my AG-3. "Two minutes ago I would have sold my chances for a tired dime." They offered $1000. But she said she was going to give it to her son. She inferred that he really didn't have an interest in coins.
