Did PCGS "conserve" the coin? The fields on their obverose look different

I didn't buy conservation so it's just the lighting. I was trying to show off the toning in that pic. In the original pic I was trying to emphasize the cloudy field.

Thank you for the slab pic. In the slab it looks like they must have "cleaned" it up. In your pic,there was something below IN left of and now I do not see it? The coin in the slab has a much better "eye appeal".
