So heard some bad news about this program. CoinWorld posted yesterday that they are withdrawing the design for the 2024 Liberty set. "Citing objections from the design review panels"

If its true, then this will be really sad.

Mint officials have withdrawn the 1794 Flowing Hair dollar designs from the American Liberty medal and coin program, but will use them in a separate program celebrating the 230th anniversary of the first U.S. silver dollar in 1794.
That works for me.

I'm in the opinion that the ccac made the right decision, as far as not recommending the design for the Liberty coin program.
If you understand the Liberty coin program is for modern representations of the concept of Liberty, the bucking bronco, the bristle cone pine, the Black person depicting Lady Liberty.
So to just use an old design and saying it belongs in the Liberty coin program to be doesn't seem like it's keeping with this program.
I'm not a fan of that design, but am happy they are making it. The only difference is it's not in the program.

The medals are a real non starter for me. If they monitized it, I'd be all in. Otherwise its just a medal and not all that interesting; another gimmick.
