Well, it appears Loonie is making a serious push for the Gold Medal this season. Well played indeed.  For me ... arrrghh ... my guessing has been horrible. I took the crystal ball into my shop last week to polish it up ... but obviously that did not work. Next I'm going to prowl though the closets for that old Ouija board ... where did I put it? And let's throw some appreciation to our tremendous host jbuck. Appreciate all that you do for all of us.  |

I'm still in the medal count (by default), and today's credible last place finish fills me with hope.

Well done loonielewie. Congrats. This was a pickup from our local coin club. This isn't a category I collect but when no one else bid on it I got it for the reserve. The colors were what sold me on it even though they are from a cleaning. What can I say, I'm a sucker for colorful and attractive toning. (When it's my time, I want to come back as a hummingbird.  ) Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.

@pete, that medal is sterling silver, right? Did you get it for close to melt then?
