I'd like a dab of 'mint grease' encased in a small bubble as part of the slab. Original Grease Series.

I'm waiting for the "Original Blood Series" where the press operator smashed his index finger in the press and bled all over the coins in the receiving hopper.

I see that there is a little bit of the printing peeking through on the bag fragment. Is this like with brithday cakes, where receiving a slice with some of the writing on it is more desirable?

It's similar to pieces of uniform included with sports cards.

Why not include fragments of mint technician lunches consumed at the time of minting--a shard of salami or twinkle crumbs...

NGC Cert #
4961487-001
NGC Description
1944 DO NOT USE, FOR PROJECTS ONLY 50C
NGC Grade
MS 64
Label
2288
Looks like maybe a prototype idea .
As stated above , no worse than what they are doing with cards .
Along the same topic , a lot of old timers like myself
remember opening an original MINT BAG back in the day .
Sort of like having Christmas 24/7 365 !

Why not just fragments of mint technicians?

Prototype or not, just a shameful exploitation of zombie collectors.

What it boils down to is that the TPG's will say, do and create anything to promote and enhance their products and separate you from your hard earned money.

I think it was buried somewhere in marketing 101.

As far as I know,
there is no established market for "original bag fragment"(s)
Therefore no extra value or saleability.

My attitude:
Why bother?
