Here is a Schwartzpfennig minted in Amberg, of the German Electorate of Pflaz-Oberpfalz. It is another coin that I'm posting to CCF for the first time.

Still working my way through the 1500s with this Hohlpfennig from the German City State of Brandenburg. It is wafer-thin: 15 mm in diameter, but weighs only about 0.05 g.

This is another of the same coin, just with a ragged edge. Both were minted at Amberg.

For the first of those coins - is that "am" for Amberg on the second pic? I can't quite tell for sure with those Gothic letters, but it sure looks like it's intended to be some kind of lettering.

Good eye @j1m. Yes the letters AM in Gothic typefont are encircled. Interestingly, I have two varieties of these things though, one with the letters IO above the shield on the obv and one Ih. So far, I've just posted that first variety, but here is the other one:

Yep that is because my coins have quite a bit of wear. Here is a numista link to a similar coin, but with the AM nearly as minted.
