With the coin being as worn as it is, I think the pros will have to match all or as many as possible die markers to know for sure.

I'm thinking "No D". Definitely a 1922.

I'm having second thoughts about this one. The more I look at the second 2 in the black and white picture, the more it looks squared off and pieced together. The top of the 2 looks almost boxie compared to the first 2. I hope I'm wrong, but it almost looks counterfeit. I'm going to take a closer look and post later.

I'm going to try this again. I took a closer look and cropped it, then compressed it, and this is what I came up with. Like I said, it looks counterfeit to me unfortunately. ErrorsRCool.

If I found this, assuming I have seen it in hand, it would go right into the Dansco 1922-Plain hole without hesitation.

Appreciate the replies everyone! I unfortunately don't have a macro lens currently so I can't get a closer photo of the date area.. maybe someday. For now it will occupy the "1922 plain" slot in my dansco (as it did in the Whitman that it came from). Or until I purchase a slabbed '22 plain.. or not. Not much of a copper guy myself & have to complete my type set
