1381 (AH 783) Juchid Mongols copper Pul Again, the 3 in the date is barely discernable in these shots, but easier to see in the hand.   The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.

782 H. 1380 CE Juchid Mongols AE pul Dozens of die combinations are known, but all bear the erroneous date - 872. The date 872 is an error for 782 AH (1380 AD), which would mean this type was minted by the authority of Khan Toqhtamysh (1378-1397). There were some attempts undertaken to decipher the lower line, but in vain.   The Ox moves slowly, but the Earth is patient.
