At 2.7g you would think it wouldn't strike up as nice if it was struck with dies and a machine that was set up for 5 Gs. And even if it is legit, 47.000 is a lot high. Heritage recently had an error coin auction, and there was a 1945-S nickel I wanted. It was struck on a wrong planchet - a Netherlands East Indies coin planchet. Here's a link to that coin. Better grade, better eye appeaI...I would "guess" it would be rarer than being struck on steel cent planchet...but what do I know? Here's one in much better condition that sold 5 years ago for about $13,000. Most wrong planchet errors seem to go for less than $1000.
