Anyone else pick up on that "stinkin" hint? Maybe some stinkiness is on this note.

I have never used the goose egg expression in crib. Had to look that one up.
I think that might be a North American thing like skunked is. We quite often say
we have a score of 19, as you can't get 19.

Don't read too much into the the "stinking", I was just refering to you saying' "we don't need no stinking clue".
I may have dropped a clue somewhere in this game though.
